Collect less. Explain clearly. Respect unsubscribe.
Bite Back collects only the information needed for advocacy, donations, volunteering and updates. We record consent, respect unsubscribe requests and do not sell supporter data.
Action Network actions must show privacy notice, consent source, confirmation, unsubscribe and export process.
Donation data remains with the external donation provider and payment processor after fundraising review.
Launch privacy requirements
- No pre-ticked marketing consent boxes.
- Campaign consent is separate from donation processing.
- Suppression lists and deletion request processes are tested before launch.
- Supporter data is never sold.
